Infant With A Lump Near The Ear Piercing That Oozes Puss And Blood. How To Treat This?

Hi,
My name is fabiola i have a 4 month old baby i pierced her ears October 6,2013. She almost has 2 months with here ears pierced. Today while i was cleaning her ears i noticed a little lump on her right ear next to her piercing. I mest with it an squeezed it and a little bit of pus and blood came out. Any idea of what it can be? What can i do to make sure it doesn't come back?

The earpiercing if not done by a sterilised equipment can cause infection. That may be the reason for pus and blood next to the ear piercing. It should be shown to a paediatrician and appropriate antibiotics should be taken so that the infection is controlled or it may recur and may also spread to other parts of the body.
