hi doctor, our toddler (2.3 yrs old -female) usually is very active & has a normal appetite,however in the last 4 days we have witnessed frequent bouts of mild fever not generally above 101, she has completely lost her appetite & her stool is sometimes loose with mucus & foul smell. The Paediatrician has also prescribed OFLOMAC-M (ofloxacin and metronidazole suspension) is this a safe drug for my child i heard that its banned in the US also...
Hi thanks for your query at HCM put salinase nasal drops in nostrils generally antibiotics are not recommended for loose motions you should give him extra fluid and ORS , monitor his hydration status if there is any blood or fever or child starts vomit every thing then immediately visit you doctor
