Infant With Ileostomy And Surgery To Remove Part Of Intestine, Difficulty In Gaining Weight. Is There Any Remedy?
My 3 and 1/2 week old baby has cystic fibrosis and and some meconium blockage and later surgery to remove some of her instestines. She had an ileostomy now and is having trouble gaining weight. she is eating 4 ounces every three hours and seems like she is just letting it all go in her ostemy bag. she is taking enzymes to help absorb nutrinets and mulivitamin.
