Infected Knee Due To Puncture, Cleaned It, Pus Discharge. Should I Continue Squeezing It Out?

i recenty had surgey on my knee which was infected due to a punture wound. the Doctor opened the area and cleaned it throughy. i was on i.v antibiotics for about 5 days. not to mention going to operating room 3 times to have this wound cleaned throughly. after going home i noticed one of the sutres looked inbedded in skin, and was painful. s i removed stitch myslf using steril scissors and tweezers. now i have alot of pain around wound and when i bend it there is alot of pus discharge. should i continue sqeezing pus out as it developes?

as you have mentioned yor knee has uberwent surgery as often & frequently gets infected which means either there is
some septic focus in the wound or
the organisms are antibiotic resistant or
ur immunity is at par (diabetes mellitus )
for checking the septic focus yoy need to visit orthopedic surgeon ,for antibiotic resistance need to do the culture and antibiotics sensitivity to rule out MRSA ( methicillic resistant staphylococci which is common in such wound check on blood sugar levels to rule out diabetes which is one of the cause of frequent infection , but all this under medical supervision & do njot ever overziliousky remove stitches on your own as the surgeon does it iunder aseptic preacaution in ot so pl visit an medical expert ( orthopedic surgeon )
