Inguinal Hernia, Open Surgery With Mesh, Problems With Erection. Problem?
I had a right inguinal hernia fixed 5 days ago. It was open surgery with mesh. I now have a problem with erections. My glans gets so hard and unable to go flaccid on its own. I have a vein running across of my penis and the vein is also rock hard during an erection now. Did the surgeon somehow cut this vein? What could be the problem.
Hi,
Thanks for query,
The reason of your hard vein is vasculitis due to surgical procedure done in that particular area.
After surgery some amount of vasculitis occurs in surrounding area.it may resolve by it's own after few weeks.
The reason of it is not going flaccid is blood collected due to vasculitis.
So nothing to worry about cut veins.Your surgeon has done perfect job.
Thanks.
