Injured Leg, Blurred Vision, Dizziness, Had A Collision, Same Symptoms Occurred. Cause Of Worry?
My son is 13. When he was in a summer camp, he fall down and injured his left leg. Right after that, his vision became black and white, and flashing. He also field dizzy. This lasted for more than 30 minutes. He was ok after that. Today, he played soccer and has collision with another player. He had the same episode for a few second. He is ok now. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi xhew ! It is not normal to have black and white vision, it can be a side effect of some medicine too please consult the doctor. Now what i want to say if you have a doubt go for head MRI . It has less radiation then CT scan. Well be safe and healthy. Bye.
Hello,
Since there has been a repetition of the symptoms I would strongly suggest you to take him to a neurosurgeon for complete evaluation. This might also require a CT Scan of his brain to note if there has been any problems within his brain following the traumatic episodes. Sometimes, small collections of blood within the brain can give rise to vague symptoms like these so it is probably on the safer side to get a complete check-up done just to be sure nothing is wrong inside.
