Injury In Chest Around Heart Area, Resulting In Breathing Issues And Pain. Is That A Major Problem?

hello doctor my name is Vasilis and thank you for your time ! three days ago i got hit in the chest right where the heart is but it was not so hard and I dont have any breathing-pain problems or anything like that except of a little pain when I touch the place I got the place i got hit . Do you know if it is a problem ? I dont think it is anything dangerous Im just really worried cause it is where the heart is. Cheers

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.You must not get worried for it,your heart is protected by rib cage . Ribs are flexible and these do not get fracture by slight trauma , even if trauma to ribs is hard ribs don't get fracture because of their flexibility . You don't have any breathing-pain problem , it means your heart is not at any danger of that trauma . You may take painkiller by discussing with your family doctor and apply hot packs 30 minutes in morning and in evening . Hope you get answer of your query.
