Hi,
Thank you for contacting Healthcare Magic.
This pain is likely to be a
migraine attack. In migraine, pain can be on forehead or temples or whole head. Typically, the pain is described as throbbing or pulsating type and lasts for more than four hours. Accompanying
nausea or
vomiting may be present. The affected person may have
hypersensitivity to bright light and noise. However, it is also possible that the
eye injury has aggravated the headache.
Based on the description of her symptoms, I do not think there is any need for immediate concern. However, she needs to be examined by a GP for more detailed evaluation.
Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
