Hi, Welcome to HCM. Irregular menstruation is usually managed by medications which are hormonal preparations which try to maintain the hormonal levels required for normal menstruation to occur. These therapies are usually prescribed for 4-6 months. By then the menstrual cycles become regular. There is no chance of any problem in the future. But if still irregular menses occur, then organic causes have to be ruled out.
Thanks.
