Irregular Period After Medical Abortion. Scan Showed Thick Endometrium. Is This Serious?

hi i am 23.recently had an medical abortion in the month of september. in post abortion scan everything was normal. later i had a normal period for one month and thereafter i had periods with a little brown discharge .i went to my doctor and after pelvic scan, she said that i had thick endometrium of 22mm. what could be the cause and is it serious?

Hi thanks for your question.
Endometrail thickness is not a serious issue.Endometrium thickness is due to conception and since you have got your pregnancy terminated,it will regress slowly and will reach to preconception level in aproximately 4 week time.
