Irregular Periods. Diagnosed As PCOS, Taking Bc Pill. Will I Be Able To Conceive?
Hi I am 28yrs old my period came down normal when I was 11 through when I was 18 but it stop on its own.i never had a period 4 2ys I not ovulation on my own ,my period is irregular but I went to my doctor she did some test on me ,found out I have pcos ,she got me on birth control for my hormones was to high I want to know would I be able to get pregnant,is there a pill to help me ovulation and get pregnant.

lets start with a good news from FDA. metformin/letrozole with clomiphene citrate (all second line drugs) are good in helping infertile patients concieve.do you have al the signs like irilization,acanthosis nigrican, hyoertension, enlarged ovaries,.as you have already been diagnosed with investigations. .
lets talk about the odds of making a baby.
so the good news is yes. it is possible to concieve
but
but
you need a plan to follow and do as directed by me
lose weight
modify diet
do regular excercise
continue OCPS
Add antiandrogens(spironnolactone/leuperolie or fenestride)
some hypoglycemic agents like (metformin or insulin)
SERMs or ovulation inductors ( clomiphene citrate)
topical hair removing agents if hirsuitism is the issue here
topical acne agents( benzoyl peroxides, or isotretinoins, adapelene topical creams, topical erythromycin, topical clindamycin, topical sodium sulfacetamide.) take any
i am sure these lifestyle modifications and medicines will give you a baby
but worst case scenario , if the PCOS is resistant.
you will need a step up and consider surgeries
here are some options
1.electrocautery
2.laser drilling
3.multiple biopsies
You will need a fertility masters like dr. BILL MASTER from Masters Of Sex :)))
