Irregular Periods. Taken Deviry. Ultrasound Shows Cyst In Left Ovary, Prescribed Femilon. Advice?
Hi,
I got an ultrasound done and the reports suggest the presence of a cyst in the left ovary measuring 6 cms. The gynaecologist I consulted has asked me to take Tas Femilon for 21 days (starting from the 5th day of my periods ending) for the next few months.
In January, I was not getting my cycles properly and had taken Deviry for 3 days. I am not sure if that has resulted in the cyst formation. I am getting married on the 29th of November this year. Is it safe for me to start taking Femilon now? Will it have any side effects? Please advise.
no deviry can not cause this.you should take care of your ovarian cyst in time.and as you have at least 3 months time in ur marriage so start femilon from any day 2-5 of your next cycle for 3 months cyclically and then go for a repeat ultrasound to confirm its cure.as in most of the cases in your age its a functional cyst which can be treated by giving cyclical OCP.thanks.
