Irregular Periods After Taking Regestrone For Altering Period Dates. History Of Regualar Periods. Suggest

Hi..!
My age is 38 , Doctor usually i get periods on 6th of every month but last month i took regestrone for delay periods till 9th Aug. On 9th Aug night i got periods back . doctor i want my date back i.e 6th so, i took regestrone from 2nd september to 4th September twice daily but till 6th september i don't get my periods back ..plzz suggest me.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us.
After stopping Registrone, you would get your periods anytime within a week.
There is no fixed guarantee that you would get it after 2 days only.
hence, you cannot have a tailor made date to a specific day.
You have to give it a range of a few days.
I would suggest not taking any more registrone, and to allow your periods to stabilize by itself, as further medication would only cause more irregularity.
