For 4 days now I ve had spotting the first day it was light brown, second day it was brownish yellow and the last two days it s been brown.. Then I had sex and I was in the shower and a dark brown chunky discharge came out sorta like a period. I have irregular periods and haven t had my period in 10 months. Do you have any idea of what it might be?
Welcome to the forum. Since you have history of irregular menstruation, you are having such brownish coloured clots. It is quite natural to have them if you are not menstruating regularly. You need to be careful when you have unprotected sex as irregularity in your periods can get you into trouble ( pregnancy ). It will be better for you to perform protected ( safe) sex.
You should consult a gynecologist and get clinically assessed. You should be treated for irregular menstruation. Commonest cause of irregularity is Anemia and hormonal imbalances.
You should have few investigations ( blood tests, USG ) done to rule out serious factors that may be the cause of such delays in periods. Eat well, exercise, stay stress free. Take care.
