Irregular Periods, Bleeding Continues For Weeks. Doctor Suggested Uterus Removal. Is That The Only Solution?

Hello doctor, my mom is 47years old. there is irregular periods for her and once it occurs bleeding will continue for 2 or 3 weeks. 2 months back she had only 3gms of haemoglobin in her body. Doctor suggested to take 4 bottles of blood and she had taken. now it is 9gms. from past 25days bleeding is going on and as per doctor s suggestion scanning and DMC have undergone. Doctor told there is some problem in uterus so we have to do surgery to remove uterus. Is surgery the final solution for that problem or do we have any other option??????

As hemoglobin going down with this problem, surgery is a must.
