hi,
Actually Spirinolactone is given to releive you from the symptoms of PCOD like hirsutisum. & it is known to cause mensrual irregularity. usually it gets automatically controlled in few months.
to avoid this problem, it can be accompanied by oral contraceptives(the drug is also contraindicated in pregnancy). if you are too much bothered about the periods please consult your gynac to have suitable product priscribed.
