Irregular Periods, Ovarian Cyst. Prescribed With Familon. Worried About The Side Effects. Had An Abortion In The Past

I am 30 year old women, married and had an abortion 2 months back. after that i had irregular periods and found overian cyst in left side of 30-40mm size and my gyne recommended me familon 21. I have read it is birth control pill and has side effects. should i continue taking this or go for ayurvedic medicines. Or it is result of improper abortion.

Hi and thanks for the query,
Its true that all drugs have side effects, but these effects could however be a function of the dosage, the intensity and the duration of the drug. Individual sensitivities to particular drugs are important considerations that must be considered too.
I honestly think its not harmful and the issue of severe side effects should not actually be a real concern now. however, the drug has not been reported to present with many serious side effects. But this can differ from person to person.
I would therefore advise that you take the drug bu to report any unwanted or unusual signs and symptoms to your physician.
