Irritating Eye Lash, Recurring After Pulling It Out

I have an eyelash on the inner side of my lower lid that has been irritating my eye for 12 to 14 years. Optometrists wont zap it because of the proximity to my eye, and they all say the average hair follicle doesn't last this long. Yet, every couple of months it will start to grow out and irritate my eye until it is long enough for me to tweeze it out.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having a condition called Entropian where due to trachoma fibrosis is formed leading to lower eye lid pulling inside causing rubbing of eye lashes in the eye or cornea.
Put some antibiotic, steroid eye drops for few days.
If there is no improvement the consult ophthalmologist and get examined.
Ok and take care.
