At my recent annual checkup, my level of troponin I was 0.01 L. I was diagnosed with the flu a week earlier, and the flu was still lingering during my checkup. I told the dr about my symptons of air hunger, weakness, jittery feeling, low energy, and that I had experienced a very sharp, stabbing pain straight through my left breast and radiated down my back and left side. He did an ECG and said it was normal. Since cardio vascular disease runs in my family, I think I should see a cardiologist for further evaluation. Should I be concerned?
