Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 15 months baby has a cold and fever. I was told to give 4 ml of sinarest. I was not aware there are drops and syrup. I gave my son 2.7ml of sinarest drops.(because I was having a doubt about giving 4 ml) But he vomited his food in the next 5 minutes alongwith the medicine. Should I be worried about an over dose??? I m so freaked out. Please help .
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Dose of syp. sinarest is depends upon the weight. As you already consulted with pediatrician, so continue dose as advised. Vomitting may be due to infection. You can give syp. Ondesetron after consultation. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
