Is Alogliptin Compatible With Metformin And Glipizide?

I m currently taking Metform er 1000mg 2x day, along with glipizide 5mg 2 x day. My doctor wants to add alogliptin because my last two A1c s have been 7.8. Is alogliptin compatible with metformin and glipizide? What side effects should I be watching out for?

Taking of combined pill of Alogliptin with Metformin may aggravate the nasopharyngitis, diarrhea, hypertension, headache etc.

So watch above symptoms while you're taking this medication.
