OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns .
Amitriptyline is known to cause limb defects and developmental delay in the the fetus, if the mother takes it during the pregnancy.
I suggest you to avoid using it during pregnancy and consult your doctor for an alternative medicine, which is safer in pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
