Is Betnesol Advisable For Hoarse Voice In An Infant?
My 6 month son has hoarse voice and barking cough since 2 days but no fever or nasal discharge....i think its croup...my pediatrician gve febrex AF and Asthakind pd ......but no relieve.....can I give betnesol oral drops and wats d dosage? his weight is 6.4kg? Kindly reply
Hoarse voice and barking cough shows that the infection is in larynx and trachea. No need of betnesol as it contains steriod. Better give bronchohist cough syrup and amox clav combination antibiotic 3ml twice daily for 3 days. Give child warm drinks very often and steam.
