sir doctor advised to my wife for taking betnasol injection at 32 weeks pregnancy , yesterday at 9.45pm and again morning 9.45am but , in morning we took injection at 10 am is it ok for wife and children (twin pregnancy) please let me know ..... Ramesh

It can only be used if benefits overweigh the risks. In animals corticosteroids readily cross the placenta and cause very serious developmental abnormalities in fetus. In humans, no such effects have been reported.
