Hello, I have had mild red throat and some fluid in right ea and low grade fever and for a week felt tired so M.D. had lab work and total Bilirubin was 1,6 and ALT was 42 and he said that was normal if I had some viral issue.. Does that seem to be accurate?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Red throat mucosa and accumulation of fluid in ear suggests throat and ear infection.
The throat and ear are connected by internal structures.
Thus, infection of one site can spread to another.
The infection could be bacterial or viral.

Whereas the tests done i.e. bilirubin and ALT are liver function tests.
These tests are within normal range.
And these tests are not affected by throat or ear infection.

Consult your primary health provider for treatment of throat infection and ear infection.

Thanks and take care
