My baby is 4 months old and his weight is 6kg. I breastfeed him and 2 to 3 times a day he take 3 ounce each time. After feeding he often put his fingure in his mouth. I feel that he is hungry. One of my relatives suggest me to give him small amount of cerelac. As breastmilk is not enough for him. Kindly suggest me what is approproate?
Up to six months only breast milk is recommended and no external supplementation is required.
If the breast milk is inadequate, you can give formula feeds like nanpro or similac. Cerelac and other related products are not recommended at this age.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
