Hello Doctor, My daughter is 17 years old and has hypothyrodism from last 8 years. She has slight traces of PCOD detected last 3 -4 months back. She has put on weight in the last 3 months. She is on Thyronorm 125 mg and the TSH reading is normal now. But her periods are irregular and her Endocronologist has prescribed Cetapin XR 500 mg 1-0-1. I am scared to give this to my child as it is shown as tablet for diabetic with some side effects too; she does not have diabeties. Please advice. Thanks.
