Is Clamp Kid Forte And Meftal-P Are Right Medications For Fever?

hai sir, my son suffering from fever last night i gave him FEBRINEST-250 5ml night 1.45am and morning 8 am. but fever is not low. now clamp kid forte and MEFTAL -P are gave medical shop . theese syrups are ok or not please suggesion you.thank you

Welcome to HCM,

As your son is having fever from last few days for which your doctor has prescribed some medicines.

As your doctor has prescribed antipyretic syrup like Feberinest, Syp Meftal P and Syp Clamp which will help to control infection and reduces the fever.

Syp Feberinest is a paracetamol for fever, Meftal P is a combination of mefanamic acid and paracetamol, Syp Clamp is an antibiotic syrup.

Continue to use syp Clamp and syp fiberinest as prescribed by your doctor, if the temp exceeds 100 F then you can give syp Meftal P, which reduces the fever immediately and protect your child from getting febrile seizures.
