Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi,just wondering if clobetamil g is good for pigmentation. Months ago I did laser treatment with one of the aesthetic doctor.I was using Lumixyl and it does help. But now I start noticing that I got pigmentation above my lips, like a moustache, and this is very annoying. I am also on Livial HRT tablets.has it got to do with my hormones.? Its very expansive with the Lumixyl cream. Can you advice me.
As per my surgical experience, the Lumixyl cream is a synthetic peptide affecting darkened spots by brightening technology. While the Clobetamil is containing clobetamethasone Propionate used for variety of allergic conditions, psoriasis and others. Yet, not routinely for pigmentation purpose. However, I would recommend to consult your treating dermatologist before deciding the therapy change on your own.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
