Is Codex DS Right Medication For Fatty Infiltration Of Liver And Nephrolithiasis?

I undergo a whole abdomen ultrasound and it was found out that I have fatty infiltration of the liver, hyperechoic nodules in the liver and spleen suggest clinical and CT-Scan correlation for further evaluation; neprolithiasis, left and slightly distended urinary bladder. Have a consultation with an IM last Saturday and he prescribed me to take Codex DS 2x a day. Is it ok? The said medicine is so expensive for me because I need to take it for 1capsule 2xa day. Godex Ds tablet mainly consists of Vitamin B complex, carnitine orotate, amino acids, adenine HCl. It is used in the treatment of mitochondrial dysfunctions, acute and chronic viral hepatitis, fatty liver, drug-induced liver injury, cirrhosis, alcoholic and general intoxication. The actual dose is 1 tablet thrice daily. It's a very effective drug and the cost will be worth it as It helps in clearing off the fatty infiltrates in liver.

Coming to nephrolithiasis, it means kidney stones and depending upon the size of the stones, treatment is figured out. Small stones pass through urine and don't cause trouble. Large stones may need surgical intervention. Please do consult a nephrologist for determination of number and size of stones and appropriate treatment.
