Is D&C Recommended For Thick Endometrium And Uterine Polyp?
Hi,I m post menopausal with no bleeding. I had a vaginal ultrasound that found a uterine polyp and 6.1mm endometrium. My gynocologist recommends D&C as I am at high risk for uterine cancer, being 69 and obese. I am reading all sorts of statistics about endometrial thickenss and am confused. And I m terrified of any such procedure - I don t have good luck with drugs or medical procedures in general. Can you tell me if there are other ways to diagnose besides D&C?

I really appreciate your concern, I would suggest that if no symptoms is there as long as the polyp are concern then it is nothing to worry, mean while you can go for second and third opinion but it is nothing to worry it may not be medical emergency hope this information helps.
