Is Duphaston Safe To Be Taken During 16 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I m 16 week pregnant , due to bleeding in first month my doc told me to take dupeston tablet . About 9 week bleeding n spotting stoped n now I m 16 week pregnant but still doc said to continue dupeston till 5th month ... I m worried about ... Is it safe to continue dupeston still as no bleeding r spotting occurs ????

I understand your concern.
Duphaston is synthetic hormone Progesterone, which helps to sustain and maintain pregnancy. It would be ideal to continue its intake till the end of 5 months as advised irrespective of bleeding or spotting.
Since you had spotting issues in the first trimester, kindly continue its intake as advised by your doctor.
Also, get your antenatal check-ups done regularly.
