Is ECG Showing Sinus Bradycardia With Right Bundle Branch Block A Cause For Concern?
Hi I had a ecg and was told I had a sinus bradycardia of 54 beats/minute and a right bundle branch block had a echocardiogram which confirmed the rbbb and awaiting a coronary ct angiogram what will this mean for me and can I claim dla and I also have bilateral pulmonary embolisms
It is very common to have right bundle branch block but if asymptomatic does not need any treatment. If bradycardia associated with syncope or fibrillation, then yes, treatment is required. In your case severe bradycardia may be the cause for embolism. Chief cause of this myocardial ischaemia which needs to be ruled out by angiography.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
