Is Ecosprin Advisable For Mild Positive TMT Report?
Hi , Am 49 year old. Am taking Blood pressure medicine i.e. Stamlo 2.5 mg. Last month during regular medical check up , it was observed by Doctor through TMT Test was mild positive . Also observed that there was calculi in Gall bladder. I was advised by doctor to go for surgery and remove the gall bladder. Since my TMT test was positive , Doctor also advise me to go for Angiography. Here they observed very mild positive ( No Blockage / NO clot ) report and advise to take Stamlo 5 mg instead of 2.5 mg and start ecosprin 150 . My question is , since there is no clot / blockage , is it OK to start ecosprion 150 ?? is there any side effect ?? I have just started since last 3 days and have not experienced any abnormalities in my routine. Please advise. Thanks & Regards.
Hi thanks for asking question. Do you have done your serum cholesterol estimation??
You are right.usually in ischemic heart disease by coronary artery blockage aspirin given. But here as you have mild positive TMT and high risk so as a prophylaxis doctor have started aspirin.
Aspirin can lead bleeding complication. If it occur then consult doctor. But you will tolerate it as you are not taking high dose. Take less fatty food....
Take care.
