Is Ensure Plus Advisable For A Person With Lung Cancer?

hi, my father is a lung cancer patient, right now he is drinking ensure plus, I have seen many article indicating things like milk or diary product promote cancers, is ensure safe for cancer patients, are there any better product then ensure out there for someone that s going through the cemo therapy and have low appetite? thank you

Hello and welcome.

Ensure provides a good source of nutrition, especially in the elderly, who have loss of appetite and are choosy about what they eat, ensure is a good and safe alternative.

I would not recommend against ensure or provide a substitute, and I do not agree with the fact that ensure can cause cancer progression, so please continue with this as he needs all the nutrition and energy he can get.
