Is Femilon Intake To Treat Irregular Periods Considered Safe?

Hi mam. Is it safe to take femilon for irregular periods. I have consulted a gynecologist and they prescribed me to take femilon for 6 months. I am not married. Will there be any problem if i stop using it after six months. Will that effect after my marriage.?

Hi, I think it is safe to take femilon. It can cause a little weight gain. Do some exercises and yoga regularly and maintain a healthy diet. You should also undergo evaluation to find out the cause of irregular periods. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to rule out any thyroid problem or polycystic ovaries. You cab stop taking femilo after 6 months. It will not have any long term effects.
