Is Fo29, Ecosprine And Lonopin The Correct Treatment For Prevention Of Miscarriage?

hi doctor i am puspita age 30 , my concern is one time miscarriage and one time i loss my baby due to stopping of heart beat. now i am pregnant of 35days and doctor has advised me fo29,ecosprine-75 and lonopin(40mg)inj to take every alternate day .please suggest me that am i getting the right treatment?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Possibly because of previous history of miscarriage, your doctor might have recommend these drugs to you.
Fo29 contains vitamins possibly.
Lonopin is low molecular weight heparin.
Ecosprin and lonopin helps in preventing miscarriage due to coagulative abnormalities like in antiphospholipid antibodies syndrome etc.
Possibly there may not be major adverse effects on fetus due to these drugs.
Regular followup examinations and ultrasound examinations are needed to detect any problem at the earliest.

Hi.This is the treatment for bad obstetric history.F029is folic acid to prevent neural tube defects , Ecosprin 75 (low dose) and low molecular wt,.heparin are given in APLA( Anti phospholipid antibody syndrome). You must have got this test done and test might be +ve so this treatment to save present pregnancy.
