Is Folitrax An Effective Cure For Behcet S Disease?
Hello SIr,My brother is sufferering from Bechets Disease(diagnosed in Jan 2017) and was on steroids+Azoran tablet for sometime untill his bone marrow got suppressed as a result of Azoran drug.He had to really fight for his life for 2 months in hospital before his bone marrow got on track and blood counts went to normal. Now the doctor has advised a tablet Folitrax 10 mg once a week for 6 weeks along with folvite 5mg daily. Please suggest if this is the right apprach to his disease, is there anything we can do to avoid a situation like one we encountered earlier with Azoran. Is Folitrax also has similar side effects?
