Is Gabapentin Advisable As Treatment For Social Anxiety?
I ve recently been prescribed gabapentin. My doc said i should start at 400mg 4x a day. He also said it would prevent cravings for alcohol and weed. He also said i could take up to 2400mg at one time for social anxiety and where alcohol would be available to help abstaining from alcohol. I ve noticed when i do this, i m not craving alcohol, but the next day i do. Does this mean my daily dosage should be higher?

Regarding your experience with anxiety following usage of gabapentin I will suggest that you stick to your physician prescription guidelines including restriction from alcohol to prevent reduction in the efficiency and bioavailabilty or inadvertently exacerbate the effect of gabapentin
