I have been taking Gabapentin for almost one month. I was prescribed it for maybe helping me sleep better and for Burning Mouth Syndrome. It has been helping with the sleeping better, but I just came across something online about Gabapentin is causing very serious problems for people, and that it is being abused. I don't know if I should keep taking it or not. And I read that you do NOT just up and stop taking it, and that the doctor should take you off of it slowly. Does Gabapentin help Burning Mouth Syndrome?
