Is HIV Transmission Possible Post Unprotected Non Penetrative Sex?
Hello doc, I got an unprotected oral sex by a girl from October the second ( a blowjob ) and she was HIV + From 15 days ago, the lymph nodes in the neck got swollen with no pain or other symptoms, I asked my doctor about them and he gave me antibiotics pills 1g ( 14 pills per a week) And then the infection remains there, so he gave me 6 Rosiflex injections (1.5g) for another 6 days, and now there's still infection in my throat like it is a severe strep throat but with not too much pain yet, I'm afraid what if I caught the virus, what should I do, knowing that I didn't ejaculate when I got the oral sex because I was disgusted.. please need your HELP doctor ! Thank you
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... HIV transmission is not possible post unprotected non penetrative sex. Also saliva of a HIV positive person doesn't contain the virus. So HIV transmission is impossible through oral sex. So you just need not to worry about the HIV transmission. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck are common after strep throat or any head & neck infection. So you should go with treatment of that
Refer to your physician Hope this information helps
