Is Hydroquinone Gel Safe For The Treatment Of Age Spots?
I was using a 2% hydroquinone gel (by Murad) once a day for about 4 months to treat age spots. Now that I have taken 3 months off from using it, the spots seemed to have returned to their darker color. How safe is this gel? Can I continue to use it indefinitely?

The use of hydroquinone has been controversial. Studies have proven it to be carcinogenic. And is also banned in a few countries.
The decision is totally up to your dermat.
I'd suggest you stop hydroquinone and instead replace it with some cream that has -
-Kojic acid
-Allantoi
-Zinc Oxide.
You can try Scarend gel. It has some natural oil extracts too which help with scars and pigmentation.
