Is IVF Procedure Safe Immediate After Taking Primolut N?
Did ivf in nov 2015 ,there was no folicle after 7 day of injection on menpour 250ml ,I had to stop the ivf .in December saw my period on the 26 which is 32 cycle ,normaly I do have 25 cycle.15 days later saw another period,spoke to my doctor prescribed primolut n then proceed to ivf immediately the period come and confused asked him why not wait and monitor the hormone before proceeding to ivf injection
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Primolut N is primarily administered for postponement and/or regularisation of the periods. There are certain medications for IVF procedure, which needs to be taken soon after you get your periods, which will help your ovum to develop in sufficient numbers. Once the ovum development is sufficient in number and quantity, it would be picked up by an operative procedure. Simultaneously, your partner needs to give semen and your uterus would be prepared for embryo transfer accordingly.
