Is Irbesartan Advisable For Elevated Blood Pressure In An Elderly Person?
my blood pressure is high and my doctor thinks it is due to hypertension It fluctuates from 113 to 180 I was on pradaxa which he took me off of and then he reduced topical from 200 to 100 a day. It was giving me terrible side affects like light headed, dizzy clogged head, weakness in legs..Since it was reduced I am feel ing much better. now he is putting me on lrbesartan 150 and I am reading all of the side affects. I can not function normally at work with these effects. I am 73 still was running, eat healthy. I was taking celery seed which reduced my blood pressure daily. I was out of it and my pressure went to 160 So he wants me on this and I am afraid of the effects.
Hello dear from my own opinion I am suggesting that you should stick to your physician prescription one of the importance of losartan in elderly is that it is kidney protective
