Is LEEP Procedure Required If Biopsy Is Normal?

I had an abnormal pap smear result when I was 2months pregnant. My doctor performed a coloscopy when I was 5 months pregnant and she said she saw an area that concerned her. Six weeks after giving birth she did a biopsy, taking six samples stating that most likely she would have to do some kind of treatment. However, the results came back negative for HPV or cancer ut she wants to still do a leep procedure. Is this normal or should I get a second oppinion?
