Is Livalo Or Is Pravastatin More Effective For Treatment Of Diabetes?

Hi, what is better, Livalo or pravastatin for person who has prediabetic sugar level - A1C about 5.9 - 6.1 ? I used previously simvastatin and sugar level was increased to 6.6 When I stopped simvastatin it was descreased to 5.9 Right know I am looking for alternative medicine.
