Is Mankind Abortion Kit Safe To Induce Abortion?
My wife is pregnant.She is of 32 years and we already have 2 child. We don't want to keep this baby.
In first month she has taken Abortion kit and bleeding happen for 3-4 days but again positive report is coming. She gone through ultrasound and report is showing positive and period is 10week.
Can we take again Mankind Abortion Kit to get rid of from this.

Mankind abortion kit contains tablet Mifepristone and tablet Misoprostol which are used for termination of pregnancy. These are prescription medicines and should be taken with Gynaecologist's prescription and advice. These medicines can terminate the pregnancy safely and effectively up to 9 weeks (63 days) of pregnancy.
According to WHO recommendations, there are two regimes for medical termination of pregnancy.
Regime 1 : Tab. Mifepristone single dose by mouth to be followed after 24 to 48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol.
Regime 2 : Misoprostol only regime where only Misoprostol tablets are taken every 3 to 12 hours up to 3 doses.
Usually, the abortion is complete within 3 days. Completeness of abortion can be assessed by ultrasonography. It takes more than 10 days for the pregnancy test to become negative after abortion. Hence pregnancy tests are not useful immediately after abortion to confirm the completeness of abortion.
These medicines cause developmental abnormalities in the baby. Hence, if they fail, the pregnancy should not be continued but terminated by some surgical procedure like MVA aspiration or so. If the medicines have failed, they can be repeated once. However, please report to a Gynaecologist for further action.
