Is Nuprin Aspirin 75 Mg The Right Medication For Tinnitus?
I have ringing in 1 ear & am taking Nuprin Asprin 75 mgs daily, as a prcaution, as I have Type 2 diabetis & managed on Insulin. Is tinnitis as side effect of Asprin. If so, what other meds can I take to prevent stroke. I am a non smoker. Thank you. Anne
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tinnitus which isn't a condition itself but is a symptom of underlying conditions, such as increase blood pressure, stress, cervical spondylosis, ear wax accumulation, age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Need not to worry. Avoid touching ear or pricking it with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause . Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test and high and low pitched intensity test. Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
