Is Oramorph Liquid Contraindicated For COPD Patients?

I am 80, male ex smoker with COPD diagnosed and getting worse. I have now been prescribed Oromorph liquid. I have read many articles online and am concerned at the number of people saying that third drug is contraindicated for COPD. What should I do?

I really appreciate your concern, COPD is chronic condition and may remains for long time conservative management is the way to treat this condition or say it need to be managed symptomatically and more important is underlying cause of disease and it need to be taken into consideration hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
