Hi,

Spine surgeon can give surgical treatment which if possible can lead to life long pain free life, your mom should not take without prescription your meds as these are addictive in nature too, take both first from md medicine opinion for pain therapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
